In 1990 Young's foods began importing Lord Chips. Continuous sales growth resulted in the company becoming the fastest growing agent for 10 consecutive years

The sales area originally only covered Hull and district, expanded to take in the whole of Yorkshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire

By the year 2000 the directors, having over 40 years experience of the food industry in fish processing, wholesale and retail food sectors, decided to develop the product range. The expansion into frozen and ambient products gave the company further growth

In 2007 Riding Foods Ltd was acquired as well as its purpose built site and in March 2008 Young's was relocated to Venture Business Park giving the company a site of 10,000 sq ft and 120 pallets of cold storage

Plans are in place for the continuous expansion of the company by increasing our product range (currently over a thousand products available), our customer base and by acquisition.
